Bring all previous medical reports, blood tests, ultrasound or scan reports, endoscopy reports if any, and a list of the medicines you are currently taking. Older reports help the doctor see how your condition has changed over time.

With modern tablet-based antivirals, most Hepatitis C courses run about 8 to 12 weeks, followed by a blood test to confirm the virus has cleared. Your exact plan is decided after your tests and fibrosis assessment — treatment is always supervised, never guesswork.

An upper GI endoscopy lets the doctor look directly at your food pipe, stomach and the first part of the intestine using a thin, flexible camera. It usually takes only a few minutes. You will be asked to fast beforehand, and the findings are explained to you the same day.

The clinic sees patients through the week, and session timings can vary by day. Please call +92 345 4352546 on the day you plan to visit to confirm the current timings.

It depends on your condition. Patients on hepatitis treatment or with long-term liver disease are usually reviewed at planned intervals with fresh liver function tests, so treatment can be adjusted early if anything changes. Your follow-up schedule is written on your prescription at each visit.
